For the fourth consecutive year, AIDA partnered with PAPASTRATOS at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), where the Federal Republic of Germany was the honored country.

The central message of PAPASTRATOS at this year’s TIF was “HERE in Practice.” At their prominently featured booth, AIDA provided branding production, audiovisual support, and press office services, effectively highlighting the company’s innovative initiatives.

AIDA played a pivotal role in the development of the booth’s branding, ensuring PAPASTRATOS was prominently showcased as one of the main sponsors of the 88th TIF. Additionally, AIDA provided audiovisual material and press office services for the social discussions held at the booth, emphasizing the company’s impactful social contributions. Among these were the collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance to launch a new digital platform for combating illicit trade, the signing of an agreement with the Municipality of Thessaloniki aimed at supporting the elderly, and the presentation of the outcomes of the regenerative agriculture program “New Land: From Tobacco to Stevia,” in partnership with Stevia Hellas and the American Farm School.

The AIDA team once again demonstrated exceptional expertise in realizing PAPASTRATOS’s vision and earned high praise for their efforts.

During the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) 2024, Mrs. Aida Nika, Managing Director of AIDA, participated as a speaker at the event titled “Women in Economics? Of Course,” held on September 8th at the main stage of the German Pavilion 13.
The event emphasized the increasing role of women in the economic and business sectors.

Mrs. Nika shared the stage with prominent personalities, including Ms. Vasiliki Adamidou, Corporate Affairs Director of Lidl Hellas, Ms. Ana Vega, Managing Director of Bayer Hellas, director Ms. Sonia Liza Kenterman, and Professor Ms. Susanne Sophia Spilioti. The discussion centered on the challenges and opportunities faced by women in leadership positions, highlighting their empowerment and the expanding opportunities across various industries.

The event, organized by the Embassy of Germany and the German Trade and Invest organization, focused on the critical need for enhanced diversity and gender equality within entrepreneurship and governance. The panel underscored the increasing influence of women in both the public and private sectors, particularly within the context of globalization and digital transformation.

The Federal Republic of Germany, as the honored country at TIF 2024, presented over 6000 square meters of exhibition space, showcasing cutting-edge “Made in Germany” technologies and products. This prominent participation promoted innovation and entrepreneurship and reinforced the political, economic, and cultural ties between Greece and Germany.

AIDA participated for the first time as an exhibitor at the Philoxenia International Tourism Expo, the only international tourism exhibition in Greece. Held from November 10-12, 2023, at HELEXPO Thessaloniki, this high-profile event attracted industry professionals from around the world, with Bulgaria serving as the honored country.

As the sole exhibitor focusing on the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism sector, AIDA made a significant impact by holding professional meetings with Hosted Buyers from countries such as Poland, Germany, Egypt, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.

These engagements allowed AIDA’s leadership team to present the company’s services and explore opportunities for establishing partnerships aimed at hosting international events in Greece.

In total, 103 Hosted Buyers attended the Philoxenia International Tourism Expo 2023 from abroad, and the exhibition featured 305 exhibitors from across the tourism industry. AIDA’s participation in such a high-profile event served as a valuable platform for exchanging ideas and perspectives, as well as an opportunity for fruitful collaborations.
