For the second consecutive year, AIDA continued its partnership with PAPASTRATOS at the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF).

​The 86th TIF, held from September 10 to 18, honored the United Arab Emirates as the guest country.With the central theme of the 86th TIF focused on the circular economy, AIDA played an active role in showcasing PAPASTRATOS’ contributions to circular economy practices during the event.

Under the slogan “We Are Our Actions, PAPASTRATOS’ participation in this year’s fair was centered around two main pillars:

  • The first was focused on reducing the environmental footprint of activities held at the Ioannis Vellidis Convention Center during TIF, with PAPASTRATOS sponsoring a comprehensive recycling system, titled “Sustainable Vellideio.”
  • The second involved the creation and delivery of a Sustainable Events Guide to Helexpo.

AIDA was fully responsible for promoting PAPASTRATOS at the 86th TIF and contributed to advancing the “Sustainable Vellideio” initiative for the Ioannis Vellidis Convention Center.

The AIDA team was on-site to support the successful execution and promotion of PAPASTRATOS’ vision, earning high praise once again for its seamless execution and impactful contribution.

AIDA successfully managed the promotion of Papastratos during the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) under the key slogan “Reborn. For the Better.” This initiative marked the company’s 90 years of presence in the Greek economy.

Additionally, at the 85th TIF, AIDA organized a press conference for Papastratos to introduce their pioneering “New Land” project, in collaboration with SteviaHellas.

The press conference, held on September 16 at the “Alexandros” hall of the Macedonia Palace, was attended by the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Spilios Livanos. During the event, Papastratos announced its partnership with SteviaHellas and the launch of the “New Land” program.

The project is an innovative initiative aimed at providing comprehensive support to tobacco farmers transitioning from tobacco cultivation to stevia farming, while simultaneously conserving natural resources.

The event was covered by approximately 40 journalists representing various online media, print outlets, and television and radio stations from across Greece.
