<p>The seminar organized by the Panhellenic Association for the Support of People with Obesity, <strong>&#8220;Imeroessa,&#8221;</strong> titled <strong>“Learning Through Play with Imeroessa on Childhood Obesity,”</strong> was successfully completed on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the event hall of the Philoptochos Brotherhood of Men in Thessaloniki.<br><br>The objective of this seminar was to<strong> raise awareness </strong>among parents and children about <strong>childhood obesity</strong> and to inform them about the <strong>harmful effects of the disease.</strong><br><br>The seminar was sponsored by the <strong>Ministry of Interior</strong>, <strong>Macedonian and Thracian Sector</strong>, under the “StiriZO” program. The event was attended by several notable figures, including Mr. <strong>Stavros Kalafatis</strong>, Deputy Minister of Interior for Macedonian-Thracia Affairs, Ms. <strong>Melina-Maria Dermetzopoulou</strong>, Deputy Regional Governor for Health, and Mr. <strong>Nikolaos Zeibekis</strong>, Deputy Mayor for Volunteering, Sports, and Youth of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.<br><br>The <strong>President of the Imeroessa Association</strong>, Ms. <strong>Kiki Tsiranidou</strong>, chaired the seminar, and members of the association addressed critical issues related to childhood obesity. Specifically, psychologist Ms. <strong>Olympia Kalambaliki </strong>gave a detailed presentation on proper nutrition and exercise, providing useful dietary tips. Psychologist-psychotherapist Ms. <strong>Zoe Karambasiadou </strong>focused on body shaming and bullying, particularly during childhood and adolescence.<br><br>Following the speeches, the children had the opportunity to play <strong>“The Healthy Eating Snakes and Ladders” game</strong>. The goal of the game was to help children learn useful information about proper nutrition and <strong>healthy vs. unhealthy foods</strong>, while also allowing them to have fun and enjoy the activity.</p>



<p>AIDA managed the entire organization of the seminar, receiving commendations for the high quality of its services.</p>

<p>The goal of AIDA Academy is to offer specialized <strong>training seminars for professionals and business executives</strong> seeking to advance their careers while meeting the increasing demands of the market.</p>



<p>The AIDA Academy service is <strong>managed by Ms. Maria Terpsidou</strong>, who is responsible for the organization of the seminars.</p>



<p>Ms. Terpsidou holds a degree in History and Archaeology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master&#8217;s degree in Art History. With years of experience in public relations and education, she is actively involved both as a speaker at seminars and as a volunteer in various initiatives.</p>
