SGS Greece entrusted AIDA with the organization of the corporate Gala Dinner commemorating the 90th anniversary of the multinational company’s presence in the Greek market. The celebration took place on October 25, 2023, at Golf Prive Glyfadas in Athens, with more than 200 guests in attendance from Greece and abroad.

In his opening speech, Mr. Georgios Anastasopoulos, Managing Director of SGS Greece and Albania, reflected on the company’s remarkable 90-year history in Greece. Since 1933, SGS has been delivering high-quality inspection and certification services to hundreds of Greek industries and export businesses.

Mr. Anastasopoulos also highlighted the new investments planned by SGS in Greece in the coming years, further expanding SGS’s footprint in Greece. He concluded the speech by announcing plans for a grand celebration in 2033 to mark SGS’s 100th anniversary in Greece.

AIDA orchestrated the entire event, delivering a comprehensive range of high-quality services, which included corporate branding, interior design and decoration, guest transportation, corporate gifts, audiovisual and sound equipment, music, registration and guest management, menu development, as well as photographic and video coverage of the event.

AIDA successfully organized the event for SGS Greece as part of their participation in the 29th Agrotica Exhibition.

The event, titled «SGS laboratory integrated services product launch Agrifood, Environment and Natural Resources»: took place on Friday, October 21, at the Electra Palace Thessaloniki hotel. It was held in celebration of the opening of SGS’s new laboratories in Thessaloniki.

The event began with opening remarks from Mr. Georgios Anastasopoulos, President and Managing Director of SGS Greece SA, and Dr. Andreas Zumdick, Vice President Crop at SGS Group, Germany, who joined remotely. Following the opening speeches, SGS executives presented the company’s services and its contributions to environmental sustainability. A detailed presentation on Health & Nutrition was delivered by Ms. Alexandra Dedeilia, Head of the Health & Nutrition SGS Greece.

A video message from Mr. Jorge Bazo Cannock, Global Business Development Manager SGS Group, Peru, was then shared. This was followed by a presentation on Crop Science activities in Greece and the relevant laboratory’s role, delivered by Mr. Ioannis Lakasa, Head of Crop Science at SGS Greece.

The event concluded with a video presentation showcasing the new laboratory facilities at SGS Thessaloniki. Following the event, guests were treated to a dinner.
