AIDA Partners with the “PLAKENTIA” Veterinary Clinics Group

AIDA is pleased to announce its collaboration with the “Plakentia” Veterinary Clinics Group, entrusted with the organization of the Group’s corporate events.

This partnership reflects a shared dedication to innovation, excellence in care, and community support through a series of strategic services aimed at enhancing the Group’s outreach efforts.

The SMERemediumCap (SMERC) Investment Fund, through its subsidiary Four Feet Ventures (FFV), has positioned itself as a leader in veterinary care for companion animals by developing the “Plakentia” Veterinary Clinics Group. Over the past two years, the Group has invested over 15 million euros in developing a nationwide network of premier veterinary facilities. Today, it collaborates with more than 1000 veterinarians across Greece, providing specialized services around the clock, 365 days a year.

The Group has made strategic acquisitions, including:

“Plakentia Veterinary Clinic” in Athens, a pioneering provider of secondary healthcare services.
“Cyclades Veterinary Clinic”, with branches in Sifnos, Ios, and Syros, managed by its founder and experienced veterinarian, Mr. Giorgos Maragkos.
“Vet In Progress” veterinary laboratory, the largest veterinary laboratory in Greece, led by the distinguished veterinarian and founder, Ms. Dimitra Bithava.
“Volos Veterinary Specialists”, a primary and secondary care center, part of the “Plakentia” Veterinary Clinics Group, founded by Veterinary Surgeon, Mr. Filimonas Diamantis.
“Plakentia Veterinary Clinic” in Thessaloniki, the largest facility in Northern Greece, featuring the first MRI scanner for companion animals, under the leadership of experienced veterinarian Mr. Stefanos Kladakis.

The Group’s scientific staff consists of 120 trained and specialized veterinarians and nurses, with a total workforce of over 170 people available 24/7, 365 days a year. They provide specialized medical diagnostics, care, hospitalization, and surgeries, utilizing the latest medical equipment, following human medical standards.

Collaboration Between PAPASTRATOS and AIDA

AIDA successfully managed the promotion of Papastratos during the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) under the key slogan “Reborn. For the Better.” This initiative marked the company’s 90 years of presence in the Greek economy.

Additionally, at the 85th TIF, AIDA organized a press conference for Papastratos to introduce their pioneering “New Land” project, in collaboration with SteviaHellas.

The press conference, held on September 16 at the “Alexandros” hall of the Macedonia Palace, was attended by the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Spilios Livanos. During the event, Papastratos announced its partnership with SteviaHellas and the launch of the “New Land” program.

The project is an innovative initiative aimed at providing comprehensive support to tobacco farmers transitioning from tobacco cultivation to stevia farming, while simultaneously conserving natural resources.

The event was covered by approximately 40 journalists representing various online media, print outlets, and television and radio stations from across Greece.
