Mrs. Aida Nika<\/strong>,\u00a0Managing Director of AIDA<\/strong>, participated in the three-day\u00a0SME Assembly 2021<\/strong>, an event dedicated to\u00a0small and medium-sized enterprises\u00a0<\/strong>(SMEs) within the EU. The meeting took place from\u00a0November 15 to 17<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Portoro\u017e, Slovenia<\/strong>, under the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

During the event, which\u00a0Mrs. Nika<\/strong>\u00a0has attended as an invited guest of the European Commission\u00a0since 2014<\/strong>, she met with the Greek delegation, European Commission officials, and other partners. The\u00a0SME Assembly<\/strong>\u00a0serves as a platform for representatives from European countries to come together, stay informed about EU policies and priorities, and foster collaborations.

Mrs. Nika<\/strong>\u00a0stated, \u201cAIDA\u2019s ongoing participation in key events for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises is a priority and ensures\u00a0continuous progress<\/strong>\u00a0in our sector. This involvement provides\u00a0valuable knowledge and tools<\/strong>, which are fully leveraged by the AIDA team for our clients and contribute to\u00a0shaping a sustainable strategy for the company\u2019s future.\u201d<\/strong>

The\u00a0three-day\u00a0<\/strong>event featured discussions and workshops, primarily focusing on the need for\u00a0green digital transformation<\/strong>\u00a0to be at the core of strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises. The\u00a0Policy Hackathon<\/strong>\u00a0took place, showcasing technological innovations in the healthcare sector. Emphasis was placed on the European Green Deal and its role in helping countries drive their economies\u00a0toward climate neutrality by 2050<\/strong>. The importance of SMEs for the future of the European economy was highlighted, along with the need to ensure their swift recovery.

A significant component of the SME 2021 Assembly was the presentation of\u00a0success stories\u00a0<\/strong>from entrepreneurs who made substantial\u00a0progress during the COVID-19 pandemic<\/strong>, as well as those preparing for a\u00a0sustainable digital recovery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
