AIDA, with a primary focus on knowledge transfer to future generations, was delighted to collaborate with Otto-Benneman-Schule as part of the Erasmus+ Internship program.

This program provides students from across Europe the opportunity to gain practical training in their field of study in any European city.

As part of this initiative, AIDA had the pleasure of hosting Emma Gerstenkorn from Germany, representing Otto-Benneman-Schule, for the month of October.

This program provides students from across Europe the opportunity to gain practical training in their field of study in any European city. As part of this initiative, AIDA had the pleasure of hosting Emma Gerstenkorn from Germany, representing Otto-Benneman-Schule, for the month of October.

During her internship, Emma gained hands-on experience in event management. She had the opportunity to witness firsthand how a project is created and organized from inception and actively participated in its execution. Additionally, Emma was able to learn about effective company presentations to potential clients and explore opportunities for expanding internationally.

A few words from Emma Herself:

«My name is Emma, I´m 21 years old, originally from Germany and I´m a trainee to become an event manager.
In October I did a four-weeks Erasmus+ internship at AIDA in Thessaloniki, Greece.
During the time at AIDA I was able to practice my writing skills on how to write a professional letter presenting the services that AIDA has to offer. I also learned how the process of open tenders for international event work, and I supported my colleagues on preparing a venue on the day of an event as well as supporting them during an event.
I enjoyed my time here and I´m happy I was able to experience not only the life in Greece as a tourist but also as a working member of society. »

It was a great pleasure for us to meet and collaborate with Emma!
