AIDA, in collaboration with the Directorate of Urban Greenery and Environment of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the BUSINESS MENTALITY organization, actively contributed to the redevelopment of a recreational park that hosts numerous young people daily, with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for both residents and visitors.

As a sponsor, AIDA supported the redevelopment of the park, which is located behind the company’s building in Thessaloniki. For many years, this park had been underutilized and had suffered significant material damage. 

The completed work includes:

• Cleaning the park from trash
• Cleaning and renewing tree pits
• Laying new paving tiles
• Installing special posts to prevent parking
• Cleaning and removing graffiti from columns and benches
• Painting columns and benches
• Repairing the canopy
• Planting trees and installing an automatic irrigation system
• Planting flowers and setting up an automatic irrigation system

In addition, AIDA’s executives volunteered their time to assist in the park’s cleanup, as well as the cleaning of the tree pits and removal of graffiti. This initiative fostered team bonding and further strengthened the company’s sense of social responsibility.

Upon completion of the work, the Directorate of Urban Greenery and Environment of the Municipality of Thessaloniki appointed a gardener to tend to the newly planted trees and plants once a week.
AIDA received praise from both the municipality and local residents for the excellent outcome achieved!
